Risk of online grooming through gaming

Children’s charities have warned of the risks of online grooming of children via games such as Minecraft – as a man is jailed for sexually grooming two children through the game. Adam Isaac from Merthyr Tydfil groomed boys he met on Minecraft before asking them sexual questions and requesting indecent photos. The NSPCC has warned that the internet is being used as a gateway to commit offences against children, and that online gaming is one of the methods used.
