Child sexual exploitation ‘Superhero’ campaign

An innovative campaign has been launched to raise awareness among healthcare professionals about child sexual exploitation (CSE). The ‘CSE Superhero’ project has been developed by Sandwell and West Birmingham CCG, in partnership with the Children’s Society and endorsed by NHS England. A ‘Know the Signs’ film has been produced, accompanied by a CSE toolkit, both of which are available nationally. The aim is to enable healthcare professionals to identify the signs and indicators of CSE, and to improve practice to safeguard children.
