Challenges to tackling loneliness

A study has found that gaps in community infrastructure and the growing complexity of people’s needs are two key challenges for services looking to help tackle loneliness. A report, Connecting Communities to Tackle Loneliness and Social Isolation, by Co-op and the British Red Cross, sets out recommendations from loneliness services across the UK.
