Children in need of help and protection – call for evidence

The Department for Education has launched a consultation on how educational outcomes for children in need can be improved. The call for evidence is asking those working in education, children’s social care, health and other specialist services to tell them what support is being offered in and out of school so that children in need can achieve their potential.

The department is interested in evidence on how support is delivered or commissioned, how this support is measured and evaluated, and how it influences educational outcomes. The consultation closes on 1 June 2018.
