Consultation on experience and outcomes in residential special schools

The Department for Education is seeking evidence to inform a review into the experiences and outcomes of children and young people in residential special schools and colleges. The review will look at, for example, the pattern of provision across the country and what support there is for these children. Consultation responses are being asked from people running or working in residential special schools or colleges, children and young people who attend these institutions, and their parents/carers, local authorities, and others with an interest in the area. The consultation is open until 17 March 2017.
